#37 - Jamie Rosenblatt, Principal at Golden Ventures: Relentless questioning from Philosophy to VC
Join in for a conversation with Jamie Rosenblatt, Principal at Golden Ventures. Jamie started his journey as a philosophy major and got hooked into the world of capitalism whilst at the JD/MBA program at Rotman. He actually planned on being a professor of philosophy. Instead, he became an unintended capitalist who became a technology lawyer by bringing in a client. We cover how he decided to take the unpopular jump of joining a startup, how it really isn't as scary as people make it seem to be, the dirty secret of venture capital and how he builds relationships. This was a really fun conversation and it was great speaking with someone like Jamie who had such a clear thinking process.
